This, not so traditional keto egg salad, is very traditional in my family but many people know it! I love making it all around the year now. It’s so tasty, simple and easy to make. Enjoy a healthy and filling salad!
I call it THE Easter egg salad as I grew up coloring eggs for Easter with food-friendly dies and then “fighting” with them. Of course, that resulted in lots of eggs to be eaten 😂 so my mom started making this egg salad recipe.
You can either have it on its own or add a protein to it like grilled chicken or even burgers. I usually go for burgers.

You can follow the instructions below and layer the salad for a great presentation or you can simply pile everything together in a bowl and enjoy it.
How to make keto salad
Keto Egg Salad:
Boil the eggs for 7-8 minutes.
Cut the lettuce and place it in a bowl. The bowl must be big enough to fit all the ingredients (lettuce to fill it about 3/4.
Cut the spring onions and layer them on top of the lettuce.
Cut the cucumber and layer on top of the spring onions.
Peel the hard-boiled eggs. Cut them into quarters.
Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks.
Arrange the egg whites on top of the cucumber slices.
Keto Dressing:
Crush the egg yolks.
Add the apple cider vinegar, olive oil and salt and mix until smooth texture.
Place the dressing on top of the egg whites.

Salad Decoration:
Arrange the basil leaves on top of the dressing.
Sprinkle the dill all over.
