- 8.8 oz extra lean ground beef
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup onion or green onions
- 1 cup (8 fl oz) keto cajun alfredo sauce (my own recipe here)
- 1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter for greasing the pan
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
Cut the onion and broccoli into small pieces.
Boil or steam the broccoli for 5 minutes, until tender but not mushy. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the onion in butter until soft, about 2 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spatula. Cooked it through until browned, about 10 minutes in total. Drain the excess fat if needed.
