This Creamy Keto Ground Beef and Broccoli Casserole with Cajun Alfredo Sauce is the ultimate low-carb comfort food—rich, cheesy, and family-friendly.

Ingredients

  • 8.8 oz ground beef extra lean
  • 3 cups broccoli fresh
  • 1/2 cup onion or green onions
  • 1 cup keto cajun alfredo sauce keto recipe here and in the Notes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter for greasing the pan

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish with olive oil.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil and sauté the diced onion until soft.
  • Add the ground beef mixture and cook over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Steam the broccoli for 5 minutes until tender but still firm. Drain and set aside.
  • Whisk together the Keto Cajun Alfredo Sauce in a small bowl.
  • In the prepared baking dish, layer the ground beef mixture, broccoli, and Alfredo sauce.
  • Sprinkle cheese generously over the top using a blend of cheddar cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, mix in sour cream, cream cheese, or a splash of heavy cream with the Keto Cajun Alfredo Sauce.
  • Add a kick of heat by sprinkling in some chili powder or taco seasoning to the ground beef mixture.
  • For a crispy topping, broil the casserole for 2-3 minutes during the last step until the cheese turns golden brown.
  • Swap out broccoli for green beans or green peppers for variety.
