Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a food processor or with an immersion blender, blend all ingredients, except the sugar-free chocolate chips, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3/4 cup almond milk, 3/4 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup Allulose, 2 tablespoons Dutch cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pour the base into your Ninja Creami pint container, making sure not to overfill. Place the outer bowl lid on securely.
  • Freeze for 24 hours, keeping the container level and undisturbed.
  • The next day, remove from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 5–10 minutes.
  • Place the container in the motor base, attach the lid assembly, and select the Lite cycle (Light Ice Cream button).
  • If the texture looks powdery after spinning, press the Re-Spin button until it becomes smooth and scoopable.
  • Add your sugar-free chocolate chips, then run the Mix-In function for an extra touch of chocolatey goodness.
2 tablespoons Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious ice cream—a creamy, dreamy frozen dessert that fits perfectly into your low carb diet.

Notes

  • Use a 1:1 ratio of unsweetened almond milk to heavy cream for the best creamy texture. This simple mix gives you that classic regular ice cream feel, without all the sugar and carbs.
  • Don’t overmix in the blender. Blend just until smooth. Over-blending the cream can cause it to split, which leads to a gritty or grainy texture once frozen.
  • Leave some space at the top of your Ninja Creami pint. Overfilling can interfere with the motor base and result in uneven spinning. Always follow the fill line and secure the outer bowl lid properly.
  • If your ice cream looks powdery after the first spin, don’t panic. Just hit the re-spin button. You might need 2–3 re-spins for that smooth, creamy result, but it’s worth it.
  • Still not smooth after re-spinning? Add 1 tablespoon of almond milk and spin again. Don’t use other liquids—they may make the texture icy or clumpy.
