These juicy keto Mediterranean burgers are packed with warm spices, fresh herbs, and no breadcrumbs, just big flavor. They’re low carb, gluten free, and perfect for meal prep, lettuce wraps, or burger bowls.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients (except olive oil) to a large mixing bowl.
    1 lb ground beef, 1/2 cup green onions, 1 large egg, 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 tablespoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Mix by hand or spoon just until combined—don’t overwork.
  • Use a burger press or your hands to shape into 4 equal patties.

Traditional method

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Cook the patties for 2–3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through (160°F internal temperature).
  • Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Alternative oven method:

  • Bake patties at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes. Ideal when roasting veggies on the same tray for a hands-off dinner.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix the meat — Mixing too much makes the patties dense. Just combine until the ingredients come together.
  • Use a burger press — It helps shape even patties that cook evenly and look pro. This burger press is the one I use every time.
  • Choose 85/15 ground beef — That 15% fat makes these burgers extra juicy and flavorful without drying out.
  • Storage tip: Freeze raw patties on a tray with parchment paper. Once frozen, transfer to a bag for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat leftovers in a skillet over medium heat or in the air fryer for 5–6 minutes.
