A quick and easy keto strawberry chia seed jam made with no added sugar. Thick, fruity, and packed with fiber, perfect for your keto lifestyle.

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, mash strawberries with a fork or potato masher.
    1 cup Strawberries
  • Simmer until juicy and softened, about 5–7 minutes, stirring often.
  • Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and sweetener.
    1 tablespoon lemon juice, ½ tablespoon lemon zest, 1 tablespoon Swerve
  • Add chia seeds, mix well, and simmer another 1–2 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and let the jam thicken as it cools to room temp.
  • Transfer to a mason jar and store in the fridge.
  • Optional: For a smoother texture, pulse with an immersion blender or food processor before chilling.

Notes

  • Taste your berries first - if they’re sweet, you might not need any added sweetener at all.
  • Use any berries of choice like raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries.
  • Store in a mason jar in the fridge up to 7 days, or freeze in ice cube trays for easy single servings.
  • For longer storage, freeze in small portions.
  • Perfect on keto bread, biscuits, pancakes, or layered in parfaits.
